Explorations allow players to Mint new moons, and drive a major part of the Moon Corp. economy.

In Moon HL, players embark on thrilling Explorations to uncover new planets and expand their galactic empires. Each planet is unique, tied to its own resource potential.

Exploration Types

Players can choose between 4 Exploration missions. Each mission requires an Exploration Vessel, uniquely designed for the specific mission type. The cost and potential rewards scale with the mission's difficulty, as outlined below:

Color-Coded Planet Rarities

Every Exploration comes with a publicly displayed probability of discovering planets of varying rarities. The rarer the planet, the more valuable its resources.

When this information is declassified, the percentage chance of obtaining a given planet for each type of exploration will be displayed here:

Each planet type and the zones they originate from are associated with distinct colors, immersing players in the unique characteristics of the galaxy.

Generation Progression and Planet Limits

To ensure sustainability and enhance competition, planet creation is capped at 21,000 planets. The journey is divided into seven generations - eclipse, each with increasing difficulty and longer wait times:

Each generation halving event (called "ECLIPSE") will be prominently displayed on the Exploration and Home Pages, complete with a progress bar to track the remaining Moons available.

Once all the moons have been minted, all that will remain is the secondary market.

Revenue Allocation

Your participation directly fuels the Moon HL ecosystem:

• 90% of Exploration revenue is added to the Moon Corporation Treasury, which defines the budget the corporation allocates to resource buybacks.

• 10% is allocated to a reserve fund in USDC.
